The Role:

Our site Pune, India is seeking a Cloud Engineer(s), Architect and Manager to join our team. The Cloud Engineer is responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining cloud infrastructure and services, ensuring the smooth operation of cloud-based systems and applications. This role requires expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, and a strong background in cloud architecture, automation, and security practices. The Cloud Engineer works closely with development teams, system administrators, and other stakeholders to optimize and scale cloud solutions in a cost-effective and secure manner.

What You’ll Do:

•  Cloud Infrastructure Design & Management:
  • Design, implement, and manage scalable, high-performance, and secure cloud-based infrastructure on platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Azure Resource Manager (ARM).
  • Ensure optimal cloud resource allocation, monitoring, and cost optimization.
• Automation & Scripting:
  • Develop automation scripts to streamline cloud provisioning, scaling, and monitoring processes.
  • Use tools such as Ansible, Chef, Puppet, or custom scripts to automate workflows and system administration tasks.
• Cloud Security & Compliance:
  • Implement and manage cloud security practices, including identity and access management (IAM), encryption, and vulnerability management.
  • Ensure cloud environments comply with relevant standards and regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2).
• Monitoring & Troubleshooting:
  • Set up cloud monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, etc.) to ensure the performance, availability, and security of cloud applications.
  • Troubleshoot cloud infrastructure issues, providing support for incident management and resolution.
• Collaboration & Support:
  • Work closely with software developers, DevOps teams, and IT professionals to ensure smooth integration of cloud solutions.
  • Provide cloud-related technical support and training to internal teams.
• Continuous Improvement:
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies, best practices, and industry trends.
  • Evaluate new tools and cloud services that could improve the company's cloud architecture or processes.

What We Seek:

•  Experience with Cloud Platforms: Proficient with one or more cloud providers (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Infrastructure as Code: Experience with tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Azure ARM templates.
• Automation Skills: Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Security Knowledge: Familiarity with cloud security best practices, encryption methods, IAM, and regulatory compliance.
• Cloud Services Knowledge: Experience with core cloud services (e.g., compute, storage, networking, and databases).
• Monitoring Tools: Knowledge of cloud monitoring tools like CloudWatch, Datadog, or Prometheus.

Outstanding Candidates Will Have:

•  Certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect.
• Containerization & Orchestration: Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration in the cloud.
• Networking: Strong understanding of cloud networking (VPCs, subnets, firewalls, VPNs).
• CI/CD Pipelines: Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools and processes.
• DevOps Practices: Knowledge of DevOps principles and integration between development and operations.
