Within the Digital Tech organization, Cloud & Infrastructure is a global team leading Sanofi into the next generation of datacenter and cloud computing. Within Cloud & Infrastructure, the Servers team is responsible for server technologies in our public cloud, private cloud, and traditional IT environment (NGDC, Regional Data Centers, and local sites).
To strengthen the team, we are looking for a Server automation expert. The candidate must have a high degree of technical expertise with enterprise server technologies and cloud computing, including the ability to perform detailed design, analysis and troubleshooting on Red Hat Linux server platforms. This candidate must possess a very strong background and understanding in Linux servers management, Ansible automation, x86 server architecture (HP & DELL) and surrounding technologies such as Virtualization, DevOps ecosystem and Ansible.
What you will be doing:

Facilitate move to cloud with strong expertise in modern cloud technologies

Provide technology expertise to design and build Sanofi’s global computing infrastructure

Investigate, architect, design and recommend solutions that leverage Sanofi standards

Ensure and maintain the robustness (availability, reliability, efficiency, performance) of server services around the globe and identifies/communicates opportunities to improve/increase services delivered

Point of contact for support teams, business partners, security and local operations experts for any Linux server-related matter

Work to achieve common goals within Cloud & Infrastructure, managing close relationships with all stakeholders to ensure alignment with mutually agreed objectives

Ensure the development of scripts with Packer, Ansible, Terraform, Github
About you
-
At least 3 years of experience using Ansible for DevOps Development with cloud environments and their supporting infrastructures

Expert level of Linux servers, System Administration and scripting

Strong experience with Ansible Playbook development and Ansible Automation Platform deployment

Intermediate-level scripting in Json, Jinja , Github

Experience implementing a continuous integration (CI) or continuous development (CD) pipeline

Comfortable with frequent, incremental code, testing and deployment

Ability to adapt to a changing and dynamic environment
