About the Role:
In this role, you will take over a small existing team of (2-3 engineers) and the responsibility for the cloud ingestion domain as part of the Identity Protection group of CrowdStrike. The team is expected to grow in the near future. We are looking for an experienced engineering manager who is able to take existing infrastructure and move it to a new micro-service architecture, while developing new features and supporting them.
The Identity Protection group is growing, and specifically the cloud ingestion domain, which is expected to accommodate new technologies and integrate into new data sources. In this position, you will lead the team that will design, implement and support new and existing features in the cloud domain.

Requirements:
8+ years of software engineering experience in all phases of a software development lifecycle
3+ years of experience of hands-on management
Experience with shipping high quality software in a cloud environments
Strong cross-group collaboration and interpersonal communication skills working with a variety of roles including engineering, product management, support and sales engineering
Demonstrated ability to attract and hire talent and grow the team rapidly
Experience working with remote teams and individuals while ensuring agility and code velocity
BS or MS in Computer Science or related engineering discipline
Experience with an OO language, such as Java or C# - must
Experience in Go and Kubernetes - advantage
Experience with networking technologies and/or cyber-security – advantage
