The Opportunity
"FICO is seeking an AWS Cloud Engineer who thrives working in a fast-paced state of the art Cloud environment. This position will be heavily involved with the migration of our existing products, as well as the development of new products within our cloud platform” – VP, Cloud Engineering
What You’ll Contribute

• Design, maintain and expand our infrastructure (maintained as IaaC).
• Oversee systems and resources for alerting, logging, backups, disaster recovery, and monitoring.
• Work jointly with other software engineering teams in building fault-tolerant & resilient services that are in line with our infrastructure's best practices.
• Improve the performance and durability of our CI/CD pipelines.
• Think with security in your mind all the time.
• You may be asked to be on-call to assist with engineering projects.
What We’re Seeking

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or relevant experience. 
• Ability to design and implement highly automated and holistic solutions.
• Act as a tech lead for the team and possess a strong ability to lead by example and drive projects. 

• 8+ years of relevant experience in cloud domain. 
• Hands on experience with a cloud-provider (preferably AWS) by maintaining or even deploying production applications infrastructure.
• Significant experience with distributed systems and container orchestration (specifically Kubernetes deployments).
• Proficiency in developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Helm, Harness, ArgoCD etc.
• Strong grasp of Infrastructure as Code (IAC), preferably using Terraform or Crossplane composition.
• Experience hosting/supporting the Atlassian suite of tools; Specifically Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket.   
• Scripting knowledge in Python/Ruby/Bash.
• Strong automation mindset and experience using APIs to automate administrative tasks.
• Hands-on experience with monitoring and logging tools, like Splunk.
