As a Cloud Engineer on the Technology team, a typical day for you will include:
- Manage and build out our core AWS infrastructure including our network architecture and EKS clusters
- Evolve our IaC CI/CD strategy and tooling
- Automate the spin up of entire AWS accounts
- Tighten access levels across infrastructure with Security
- Work and train team members on Terraform and AWS best practices
Bring your skills and be inspired to achieve success.
- Experience:
- At least 3 years of relevant experience either in an Engineering role focused on cloud technologies or as an SRE or similar role focused on operational support for production workloads in the cloud
- Experience with IaC platforms such as CloudFormation or Terraform
- Hands on application of Configuration Management to live production instances
- Understanding of SQL Infrastructure
- Have developed DR plans / strategies
- A keen awareness of monitoring and cost optimization
- Kubernetes experience is a bonus
- Education:
- 5 or more years of professional IT experience in large scale environments with hands on experience in the technologies, skills, and processes listed above
- Schedule / in-office requirements:
- This role is open to fully remote if you're not based in DFW or Waco, Tx.
