Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Cloud Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the setup and deployment of required infrastructure in Amazon AWS for data quality assessments and implementing basic cloud functionalities like serverless code and integrations.
Responsibilities:
- Automated multi-stage and multi-region deployments of AWS infrastructure using Terraform
- Implementation and maintenance of a multi-level CI/CD pipeline infrastructure using several GitLab repositories, Linux build servers, Bash scripts, and Docker builds
- Maintain IBM ODM components running as serverless Fargate services using self-composed Docker images and connections to other AWS services
- Develop technical documentation to accurately represent application design, processes, and code
- Setup integration with data pipeline to feed datasets into rules engine
- Setup integration with Logging & Monitoring framework
- Reduce redundancies in storage and processing
- Setup integration with metadata management solution (using AWS Glue)
- Analyze, setup, and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure including ECS tasks and services, RDS databases, Lambda functions, APIs and models, Route 53 DNS zones, EC2 instances, Docker repositories, and security roles and policies
Qualifications
Must Have:
- Proficiency in Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Experience with AWS Glue
- Experience with CI/CD pipeline tools (e.g., GitLab, Jenkins)
- Strong understanding of cloud security best practices
- Experience with serverless architectures (e.g., AWS Lambda)
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Effective communication skills in English
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Python
- AWS Certifications
- Familiarity with other cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, Google Cloud)
- Knowledge of data integration and ETL processes
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., CloudWatch, ELK stack)
- Experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code
