As a DevOps Engineer 2 at Snowflake, you will be part of our dynamic CloudOps team responsible for maintaining and optimizing our cloud infrastructure. You will work on designing and implementing scalable solutions, managing CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring the security and reliability of our cloud environments. This role offers an opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies while collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive infrastructure improvements.
IN THIS ROLE AT SNOWFLAKE, YOU WILL:
Design and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure using AWS services and Infrastructure as Code
Implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, and Jenkins
Manage identity and access controls through Okta integration and cloud platform security measures
Develop automation solutions using Python and shell scripting to improve operational efficiency
Monitor system performance and respond to incidents with effective troubleshooting and resolution
Collaborate with development and security teams to implement best practices and maintain compliance
WE WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF YOU HAVE:
BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
3+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer in an enterprise environment
Strong expertise in AWS services and cloud infrastructure management
Proficiency in Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration
Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools, particularly Terraform
Strong scripting abilities in Python, Bash, or PowerShell
