What you’ll achieve

As a Cloud & Devops Architect, you will be part of our highly successful team, utilising your skills in the development and enhancement of our market leading software applications for the hospital and healthcare environment.

Working with an extended highly skilled team, you will be making a profound impact throughout the healthcare sector.

You will:

  • Design, architect and implement resilient cloud solutions using optimized architecture based on AWS best practices.

  • Develop cloud adoption strategies, lead and manage cloud migration projects, refactor, replatform, and modernize applications to AWS.

  • Implement DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code (IaC), and automation to enhance the development and deployment processes.

  • Act as a single point of contact to manage all the AWS related cloud issues, security and performance monitoring.

  • Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to create secure, scalable, and reliable cloud infrastructure.

  • Lead and mentor the DevOps engineering team, providing guidance and best practices for cloud and automation efforts.

  • Develop and maintain a cloud governance framework that ensures compliance and security best practices.

  • Develop and implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans for cloud-based applications.

  • Participate in architecture reviews, design discussions, and capacity planning sessions.

Here’s what you’ll need to succeed:Essential Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • 12+ years of Cloud & Devops experience, with a minimum of 5 years in Architecture role.

  • Proven experience with AWS cloud platform.

  • Strong expertise in automation tools like Terraform, Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.

  • Hands-on experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration tools.

  • Proficient in CI/CD pipeline tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.

  • Proficient in CI/CD pipeline toolks like Jenkins, GitHub or Azure DevOps.

  • Solid understanding of networking, security best practices, and cloud security principles.

  • Experience in monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or CloudWatch.

  • Strong scripting skills (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell) for automation tasks.

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.

  • AWS Solutions Architect Professional certification
