Here’s how you will make a difference in this role… 

This is a hands-on role for experienced DBAs only. If your background is not in database administration + performance tuning in complex environments, this role is not the right fit.

To be considered for this role you will have: 

  • Own performance, stability, and availability of enterprise databases
  • Lead query optimisation, indexing, and performance tuning
  • Design and optimise data models (normalisation, schema design)
  • Support high-volume production systems (incidents, RCA, optimisation)
  • Embed best practices across DevOps and engineering teams

What You Must Have (Non-Negotiable)

  • 5+ years DBA experience in a corporate complex business
  • Deep expertise in:
    • SQL Server & Azure data services
    • Query tuning, indexing, execution plans
    • Data modelling & normalisation
  • Proven experience in high-volume, production systems
  • Strong understanding of database performance engineering
