Purpose of the role

To build and maintain the systems that collect, store, process, and analyse data, such as data pipelines, data warehouses and data lakes to ensure that all data is accurate, accessible, and secure. 

Accountabilities

  • Build and maintenance of data architectures pipelines that enable the transfer and processing of durable, complete and consistent data.
  • Design and implementation of data warehoused and data lakes that manage the appropriate data volumes and velocity and adhere to the required security measures.
  • Development of processing and analysis algorithms fit for the intended data complexity and volumes.
  • Collaboration with data scientist to build and deploy machine learning models.

You will harness cutting-edge technology to build and manage robust, scalable and secure infrastructure, ensuring seamless delivery of our digital solutions.  

To be successful as a Cloud Data Engineer, you should have experience with:

  • Strong experience in end-to-end testing within Cards Issuing, Payments, or Banking domains, with the ability to validate complex business processes across multiple integrated systems.
  • Develop and maintain scalable ReactJS-based web applications and reusable UI components for enterprise-grade platforms. 
  • Design, develop, and support Java Spring Boot microservices, REST APIs, and backend services. 
  • Strong experience in ReactJS, including component-based architecture, state management, and responsive UI development
  • Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot application development. 
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in Full Stack Software Development

Some other highly valued skills may include:

  • Experience in Cards Issuing platforms such as TSYS, Mastercard, Visa, Rewards, Loyalty, or Customer Servicing systems.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments. 
  • Strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC). 
  • Knowledge of Maven, dependency management, and build automation. 
  • Experience working with MongoDB and database design principles. 
  • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and release management processes using GitLab.

The role is based out of Pune.

Skills Required

  • Experience working with quants, technology teams, and architects to design or enhance platform capabilities in compliance with security, data privacy, and accessibility standards
  • Ownership of data platforms and defects, including code reviews and contributions to the software development lifecycle
  • Experience identifying data platform design flaws and guiding engineering teams on remediation and service improvements
  • Experience with data platform engineering, preferably in the financial sector
  • Understanding of complex enterprise infrastructure and architecture environments
  • Understanding of AWS CloudFormation, Kubernetes, infrastructure automation with Chef, and Ansible
  • Programming experience with Java, Scala, or Python
