Cloud Catalog and Product Analyst
Job Purpose
The Cloud Catalog and Product Management Team is part of Cloud Operations and is responsible for maintaining vendor catalogs and product portfolios across internal systems and platforms. The team also supports the onboarding of new vendors across the EMEA region.
The Cloud Catalog and Product Analyst will contribute to activities and projects related to catalog maintenance for multiple vendors, with a focus on reducing errors, improving data quality, and supporting the execution of new operational business processes. The role will collaborate with business teams, local sales teams, internal departments, platform owners, IT teams, and vendors to resolve queries related to catalog and product management. A key responsibility will be to work closely with Specialists and other internal stakeholders to keep data accurate and up to date, and to support the resolution of discrepancies related to materials and products.
The Catalog and Product Analyst may also be required to support the implementation of new processes, such as automated systems for billing and procurement or new support services for platforms. This role requires the ability to analyze existing data, identify opportunities to reduce errors and process breakdowns, contribute to quality improvement initiatives, and document business processes effectively.
The team is also responsible for supporting the rollout of cloud solutions across TD SYNNEX entities in Europe, covering more than 22 countries. In this capacity, the team collaborates with Business Unit leaders and key partners to develop effective strategies and deliver best-in-class systems with strong impact and synergy across the region.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze data, identify process gaps, and support process improvement initiatives to increase operational efficiency.
- Develop and maintain process documentation to strengthen catalog and product management activities.
- Manage ticketing tools and resolve catalog-related queries from EMEA countries.
- Coordinate and facilitate cross-functional and cross-organizational meetings with stakeholders across end-to-end business processes.
- Support the deployment of new operational processes and escalate issues when required.
- Maintain, manage, and continuously improve catalog data quality.
- Support training and knowledge transfer for new processes, including activities involving outsourced parties.
- Maintain regular communication with countries and key stakeholders regarding catalog and product management processes.
- Understand complex business processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Translate business challenges into practical automation solutions.
- Leverage AI and automation to reduce manual effort and improve operational efficiency.
- Act as a bridge between business requirements and technical solutions.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
- Knowledge of ERP systems; SAP experience is a plus.
- Experience with e-commerce platforms is an advantage.
- Experience in business analysis, process improvement, and data analysis.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned activities.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills, including the ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in analytical tools, including data gathering and analysis, spreadsheets, and BI/reporting tools.
- Comfortable working in an international, results-driven project environment.
- Project experience in software licensing, support, or customer service functions is a strong advantage; understanding of the IT software, services, or SaaS industry is beneficial.
- Technical knowledge of TD SYNNEX tools and systems, including SAP, Microsoft Office products, hardware, operating systems, programming languages, diagnostic utilities, and monitoring tools.
- Experience in the IT channel, Pan-European distribution, or software vendor environments is a strong advantage.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills in English; additional European languages are a plus.
- Intercultural experience is an advantage.
- Familiarity with:
- Ticketing systems, such as Freshdesk.
- Process documentation and improvement tools.
- Data analysis tools, including Excel and reporting tools.
