Job Description

Who You'll Work With

The Cloud Business Manager is a multifaceted business and program management role that combines strong project-management discipline with detailed knowledge of products, processes and customer-facing operations. The position will coordinate activities across Order Management, Planning Management, Customer Service and Manufacturing-related processes, serving as a key connection point between customers, Sales/Account Management and internal operational teams.

The role has a global scope and will manage relationships and activities associated with global accounts, with most customers currently located in the United States. The position will be based in Guadalajara and will operate within a predominantly remote global team.

As one of the first individuals performing this function in Guadalajara, the successful candidate will help establish the operating precedent for the role locally, bringing structure, documentation, process discipline and continuous-improvement practices that can support the future growth of the team.

What You'll Do

  • Coordinate cross-functional activities related to customer programs, business operations and cloud-related processes.
  • Manage and follow up on activities across Order Management, Planning Management, Customer Service and Manufacturing-related operations.
  • Serve as a coordination point between customers, Sales/Account Managers, internal operational teams, executives and international stakeholders.
  • Translate customer and business requirements into clear actions, priorities, owners, timelines and follow-up.
  • Monitor commitments, deliverables, operational risks and dependencies across multiple workstreams and escalate issues when appropriate.
  • Partner with Sales and Account Management to ensure customer priorities are understood and effectively connected to internal execution.
  • Analyze operational and business information to identify trends, risks, opportunities and areas for improvement.
  • Prepare and maintain reports, dashboards and business information that support decision-making and operational visibility.Maintain strong documentation and process discipline, ensuring that relevant information, decisions and follow-up actions are clearly captured.Identify opportunities to improve workflows, operating processes, efficiency and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Work with a high degree of autonomy, ownership and prioritization in a dynamic, international environment.
  • Help define processes, standards and best practices for the Cloud Business Manager function in Guadalajara.
  • Contribute to onboarding, mentoring and the future development of additional team members as the local operation grows.

Qualifications

  • A technical background in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Industrial Engineering or a related field is preferred; an engineering degree is helpful but not mandatory.
  • Professional experience in technology, networking, cloud, data center, electronics, high-tech manufacturing or another complex product/service environment.
  • Solid experience in program/project management, business operations, customer programs or a comparable cross-functional management role.
  • Demonstrated understanding of several of the following areas: Order Management, Planning Management, Customer Service, Manufacturing Operations and Business Operations.
  • Experience working with global teams and/or international customers, preferably in a role requiring frequent cross-functional coordination.
  • Highly autonomous, independent and accountable, with a strong sense of ownership.
  • Professional, quality-oriented and process-minded, with strong attention to documentation and follow-through.
  • Strong problem-solving and rational-thinking skills, with the ability to structure complex situations and determine practical next steps.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and workstreams simultaneously.
  • Comfortable connecting Sales/Account Management with operational and technical teams.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work effectively with executives, customers and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Curious and improvement-oriented, with a proactive approach to identifying better ways of working.
  • Collaborative and willing to provide additional support when business priorities require it.

Technical & Language Requirements:

 

  • Working knowledge of Power BI and business reporting/analytics tools.
  • Experience with Oracle NetSuite or comparable ERP/business management systems.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office / Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace.
  • Excellent written and verbal English and Spanish; fully bilingual communication capability is expected.
  • Mandarin Chinese is a plus.

Preferred / Plus Qualifications:

  • Experience in cloud networking, data center infrastructure, networking products, electronics, AI infrastructure or high-tech manufacturing.
  • Previous experience as a Program Manager, Business Manager, Operations Manager, Customer Program Manager or in a similar multifunctional position.
  • Experience establishing or scaling a new team, function or operation.
  • Experience providing leadership, mentoring or onboarding support to other team members.
  • Experience in a fast-moving product/service environment; strong candidates from adjacent industries may also be considered.
