Your Team
The ASX cloud service team manages secure, scalable AWS cloud solutions for ASX’s critical systems. They focus on architecture, cost optimization, automation, and compliance to ensure high availability, resilience, and regulatory adherence
Your responsibilities
IT Service Management (ITSM):
- Monitor and manage IT service performance against SLAs and KPIs.
- Act as a point of contact for incident, problem, and change management processes.
- Maintain and improve ITSM processes aligned with ITIL best practices.
- Collaborate with service owners and technical teams to ensure service continuity and quality.
Financial Operations (FinOps):
- Analyse and optimise cloud and IT infrastructure costs across multiple platforms.
- Provide cost forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis for IT services.
- Develop dashboards and reports to track consumption, cost trends, and savings opportunities.
- Partner with procurement and finance teams to ensure accurate billing and chargeback models.
Risk & Compliance:
- Identify, assess, and mitigate IT-related risks in alignment with organisational risk frameworks.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and industry standards.
- Conduct regular audits and prepare compliance documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
- Support governance activities, including risk registers and remediation plans.
Your experience and qualifications
Must have
- Strong understanding of ITIL processes and ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow).
- Proficiency in cloud cost management and FinOps principles.
- Knowledge of risk management frameworks and compliance standards.
- Analytical mindset with advanced Excel and/or PowerBI/Tableau as well as data visualization and presentation skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Nice to have
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Finance, or related field.
- Certifications preferred: ITIL Foundation, FinOps Certified Practitioner, Risk Management or Compliance certifications.
- 3–5 years of experience in IT service management, financial analysis, or risk/compliance roles.
