This role is for hands on Cloud platform engineer who will be responsible for support and maintaining multiple google projects and platforms within Equifax. Resource must be having hands on experience managing and supporting GCP cloud services and infrastructure. Resource must be hands on using Terraform / Ansible / Jenkins / Groovy / Python etc for automation.
What you’ll do
- Responsible for GCP platform and services availability used by various applications.
- Responsible for creating , configuring, maintaining, monitoring and supporting GKE clusters and services deployed within cluster
- Responsible for setting up alerts and dashboards using platform like Grafana, PagerDuty and Datadog etc
- Hands on experience on managing and configuring API platforms such as APIGEE, ENVOY, ISTIO, ANTHOS etc.
- Hands on developing Build and deployment CI/CD pipelines for various services needed to be running on GCP platform
What experience you need
- 5+ years of hands-on experience designing, implementing, and optimizing solutions across a comprehensive suite of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience leveraging Terraform and Git for version control.
- 5+ years of experience in the full lifecycle of Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipeline orchestration using Jenkins.
- 5+ years of experience in Python, Groovy, and Unix Shell Scripting
What could set you apart
- While GCP is primary, you possess significant experience in designing, deploying, and managing solutions across other leading cloud platforms like Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
- You understand cross-cloud networking, data synchronization, and can apply consistent IaC and CI/CD practices across diverse cloud ecosystems, optimizing resource utilization and building resilient multi-cloud architectures.
