We are seeking an experienced AWS Architect with a minimum of 10 years in technology, specializing in cloud engineering. This role is ideal for someone who not only understands the nuances of AWS infrastructure and cost optimization but also possesses deep expertise in Kubernetes, EBS volumes, networking, and infrastructure assessments. Experience in audits and a strong background in AI-driven tool design will be a significant advantage.
- Design, architect, and implement scalable and secure AWS solutions tailored to our business needs.
- Oversee the setup and management of Kubernetes clusters and related container orchestration.
- Manage and optimize AWS infrastructure components including EBS volumes, networking, and storage solutions.
- Conduct infrastructure assessments and implement cost optimization strategies across cloud resources.
- Participate in and support internal and external audits by providing detailed documentation and assessments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop AI-driven tools for internal use, fostering innovation and evolution in our cloud strategy.
- Mentor and guide junior team members on cloud best practices and emerging technologies.
- A minimum of 10 years’ experience in IT with a strong focus on cloud engineering and AWS.
- In-depth knowledge of AWS services, Kubernetes, and EBS volumes.
- Proven experience in infrastructure design, networking, and cloud cost optimization strategies.
- Hands-on experience with infrastructure assessments and familiarity with audit processes.
- Demonstrated ability to integrate AI initiatives into cloud-based solutions.
- Strong problem-solving skills, strategic thinking, and excellent communication abilities.
- Experience participating in formal audit processes and implementing recommendations.
