What you’ll get to do:
Serve as a flexible and resilient Cloud Architect that addresses customer business problems and accelerates the adoption of cloud services across AWS and Google Cloud. As a trusted customer advocate, the Cloud Architect will help organizations understand best practices around advanced cloud-based solutions, and how to migrate existing workloads to the cloud.
- Responsible for creating technical solutions from customer requirements to design and fulfill customer’s cloud strategy.
- Provide technical leadership throughout the design and deployment life cycle and focus on delivery of quality solutions
- Create technical artifacts of “as-is” and planned cloud architecture to include engineering diagrams, whitepapers, architecture plans, and service descriptions.
- Demonstrate ability to stay current with application Architecture best practices, existing and emerging technology platforms, and architectural and systems engineering industry trends.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with both technical and non-technical personnel and customers.
You have:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to pass CBP background investigation, criteria include but are not limited to:
- 3 year check for felony convictions
- 1 year check for illegal drug use
- 1 year check for misconduct such as theft or fraud
- College degree (B.S.) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Management Systems or a related discipline. Equivalent professional experience will be considered in lieu of degree
- Professional Experience: 5+ years design implementation experience with distributed applications
- Minimum three (3) years of hands-on working experience with AWS and/or Google Cloud
You are good at:
- Familiar with current cloud technologies (e.g. Compute, Database, Pub/Sub) to formulate new solutions and or make recommendations to improve current business processes
- Subject matter expert on AWS and/or Google Cloud services
- Demonstrated ability to create system architecture diagrams and documentation for review by both technical and non-technical audiences
- Ability to break down application requirements and propose appropriate architectural solutions
- Understanding of Cloud Cost Management tools and lifecycle cost and trades associated with AWS and/or Google Cloud services
- Experience working in an AgileDevSecOps environment
- Excellent leadership, peer management, and communication skills
- Strong analytical, conceptual, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to effectively interface with all levels of personnel and management.

The proposed salary range for this position is:
$74,600-$156,700
