Are you passionate about strategic technical projects and working for a company that embraces cutting - edge technology?
We are looking for an experienced and innovative Azure Cloud Architect for our Houston branch to design and deliver Microsoft Azure deployments based on customer requirements and best practices. Your experience in architecture, design, and implementation of the Microsoft technology stack will ensure you’re successful in this role. Taking an Agile approach, you will be given the opportunity to deepen your knowledge base and expand your skills while delivering world class solutions to our clients!
A Day in the Life:
- Support Long View’s Microsoft portfolio by working with customers and internal stakeholders, defining customer solutions, and delivering engagements that are innovative and exceed business requirements
- Ensure technology designs and implementations solve clients’ requirements and challenges
- Design, architect and implement standard or custom technical solutions
- Develop complete customer-focused technology solutions for current and new service offerings, considering all aspects of architecture including business and technical requirements, sizing, infrastructure, data protection, security and recovery items
- Participate and contribute including sharing learnings and information with the larger Long View team that is not present at the event
- Assist with hosting presentations and/or education sessions such as Lunch & Learns
What You Bring:
- 5+ years of experience architecting Microsoft technologies including Azure, Skype for Business, and Office 365
- 8+ years of industry experience working as a subject matter expert in Microsoft and at least 1 technology areas (Data center, cloud, storage, virtualization, server, or networking)
- Proven ability to understand and capture complex business requirements to create technical solutions
- Familiarity with IT architecture principles and industry frameworks and willingness to work within and propose improvements to the approved Long View Systems architecture frameworks and methodologies
