We are looking for a Cloud Administrator to join the team! This position is integral to the team managing daily operations and facilitating client migrations to MCCi’s Managed Cloud service, a fully managed hosting solution built on Microsoft Azure for our Laserfiche clients.

What you’ll do:

  • Deploy and manage IaaS resources within Azure Government regions
  • Identify, document and submit firewall requirements to network services management and review/validate of completed deployment
  • Act as primary infrastructure subject matter expert to project teams engaged in the deployment and migration of existing client systems into MCCi’s Managed Cloud
  • Resolve service requests from clients and internal personnel via corporate request/ticket management solution, phone, or conferencing, serving as a point of technical escalation for Managed Cloud related service incidents
  • Manage system updates and patching, and remediation, as necessary
  • Planning, execution and testing of backup, restoration and disaster recovery processes
  • Ad hoc Active Directory administration
  • Management of DNS zones, both internal and external
  • Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours infrastructure support for site down/severely degraded service incidents
  • Participate in after-hours system maintenance in support of client change requests
  • Document client-specific deployment configuration into applicable knowledge management resources.

What you’ll need to be successful:

  • Ideal candidate will possess multiple items listed below.
  • Systems Management: hands-on experience in administering multi-server environments, managing distributed applications on Windows and SQL Server platforms.
  • Networking: solid foundation in TCP/IP, with demonstrable ability to troubleshoot connectivity issues in diverse network implementations including layer 7 firewalls, S2SVPNs, split DNS, etc.
  • Infrastructure Management: a working knowledge of common IaaS cloud infrastructure services, hands-on experience in using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) platforms for automating the deployment and configuration of Windows Server infrastructure.
  • Laserfiche: previous experience managing/supporting Laserfiche or similar solutions within the Content Services/Enterprise Content Management/Document Management space.
  • Business Process Automation (Workflow) or Robotic Process Automation: experience with one or more BPA or RPA solutions.
