Cloud Administrator

As a Cloud Administrator, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining cloud information technology and information security solutions and the smooth operation of our cloud-based applications and services across our organization. You will collaborate closely with various teams to ensure the operations and security of our cloud infrastructure, applications, and data. This role requires a deep understanding of cloud computing technologies, strong knowledge of secure IT principles, and the ability to design and implement HIPAA, GDPR, SOC 2, and ISO 27001 compliant cloud environments. Your expertise will be instrumental in safeguarding our data, applications, and systems from potential threats and vulnerabilities. • Work closely with cross-functional teams to support SaaS deployment, integration, and migration efforts; maintain comprehensive documentation of cloud configurations and procedures.
• Design, implement, and maintain cloud information technology solutions with the intention to safeguard our cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Conduct license and security audits of cloud platforms, applications, and infrastructure.
• Develop and implement security policies, standards, and procedures for cloud operations.
• Monitor cloud environments for security threats, intrusions, and vulnerabilities; respond promptly to security incidents.
• Monitor system performance metrics and generate periodic reports; provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Evaluate and recommend new cloud technologies and products.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging threats, and new cloud technologies.
  Participate in incident response and forensic investigations as necessary.
• Manage the IT helpdesk for cloud and system operations.
• Demonstrate integrity and professional ethics in everything you do

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Proven experience in Systems Administration with a focus on security.
• In-depth knowledge of cloud computing principles, architectures, and solutions (e.g., IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
• Hands-on experience with cloud security technologies such as IAM, CASB, WAF, encryption, IDS/IPS, and SIEM.
• Experience with cloud security best practices and compliance frameworks with a preference to GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS and ISO 27001.
• Strong understanding of network and web-related protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, HTTPS, TLS/SSL).
• Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Security Specialty, Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP) are preferred.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills; ability to work effectively with diverse teams.

Salary Range: $80,000 - 100,000
