Job DescriptionAs a Cloud Achitect, you will be responsible to lead and manage cloudops in LTA IT198 and to design / review on cloud solutions. The Architect shall oversee all technical aspects of the project throughout the Day 1 - Project Implementation and Day 2 - BAU
What will you do?
- Experiences in the technologies and products with strong knowledge of new or latest technology, platform, and practices, including Microsoft .NET technologies or equivalent, microservices architecture, cloud technology and software development best practices.
- Present architecture and design solution for discussion, review, and endorsement.
- Ensure architecture is aligned with prevalent policies;
- Escalate issues with significant risks, requiring substantial trade-offs, or having long term impact, to project manager attention; and
- Provide technical guidance to the project team
The ideal candidate should possess:
- Degree in Computer Science / Computer Engineering / Information Technology related field, or IT equivalent
- Typically 2-5 years of experience with substantial project work in software development
- AWS or Azure certification will be advantageous
- Possess initiative and disposition with a strong commitment and orientation towards results and high quality standards
- Strong problem solving skills and ability to think out of the box
- Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivator with a positive attitude and with high energy
- Customer focused
- Proficient in written and spoken English
- Able to travel as required
