As a Closing Specialist, you will work to manage various documents and files throughout the settlement process.
This will be a temporary position supporting seasonal volume for our Southern California market through summer 2026. This will be fully remote- all equipment will be provided, and training will be conducted virtually.
Responsibilities
Review contract to extract key terms and fee allocation and/or credits.
Work on all aspects of loan process, from initial lender requests through loan funding/recording: initial lender requests, CD balancing, loan document review, set up signing appointments with buyer/notary, review signed loan documents for funding, submit signed loan package to lender, clear lender funding conditions, ensure all buyer/lender funds are in and follow up as necessary to ensure timely delivery,
Review recording docs for accuracy make/request changes when needed
Responsible for providing timely updates to agents and transaction coordinators on loan progress and communicate any possible delays
Cover for Closing Advisor (Escrow Officer) when needed, serving as the primary point of contact for all parties and responsible for monitoring team email
Minimum Qualifications
Experience as an escrow assistant or equivalent role
Attention to detail and the ability to be organized in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
1+ year of escrow experience building Closing Disclosures, Closing Statements, HUD-1 Settlement Statements
Experience with residential purchase transactions in Southern California
