Summary
The ideal candidate is responsible for creating a warm and welcoming first and last impression for guests. This position involves assisting guests with their luggage, escorting them to their rooms, offering hotel information, and ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their stay.
Essential Functions
Job duties include, although are not limited to:
- Bell team is following all FORBES standards
- ALL bellperson are in the proper uniform wearing their nametag and have a Daily Compass
- Bell team attends the Pre-shift meeting
- Bell team is posted up
- Desk is clean and free of clutter
- Packages are logged and delivered
- Luggage is tagged and delivered
- Group deliveries are logged, delivered, and invoiced
- ShiftNote is updated with any pertinent information
- Bell carts are clean and ready for use
- Holding room is clean and organized
- All radios are charged and ready for the next shift
- Lobby is clean and free of any dirty glasses or trash

Reports to Director of Guest Experience
External Relationships
Has regular contact with Guest & Members
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality training preferred.
- Prior experience in guest services or bellman role is a plus.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Knowledge of the local area is beneficial.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Education/Experience Requirements
Physical Requirements
Lifting 50 lbs. maximum with frequent lifting and carrying of objects weighing up to 25 lbs. It requires walking or standing to a significant degree, as well as reaching, handling, feeling, talking, hearing, and seeing.
