Clinician is accountable for assessing and providing treatment to individuals with emotional, mental, or substance abuse difficulties, including abuse of tobacco, alcohol, or other drugs. The clinicians job role is to help clients get out of the addiction by educating them the skills or the mechanics to deal with their addiction.
Requirements
- Licensed (LMFT, LPC, LADC, LCSW, LMSW)
- Master’s degree in a related field.
- Must speak Spanish
- Five years of professional counseling experience; or a combination of a degree in a related field and professional experience.
- Evidence of knowledge of the dynamics of chemical dependency rehabilitation, resources available to the chemically dependent, and appreciate of the self-help groups.
- Must demonstrate appreciation and willingness to develop continuing skills towards multicultural competency within a behavioral health setting.
- Must be a growth-oriented person willing to set and work toward professional goals.
- Must demonstrate good emotional stability, maturity, warmth and openness.
- Must have driver’s license and motor vehicle.
- HRSA approved location.
