San Pasqual Academy is located on a beautiful 238 acres in rural San Pasqual Valley. SPA is equipped with all the amenities of a private high school, including classrooms, an auditorium, gym, and cafeteria. On grounds sports and activities include basketball, softball, and football. Our unique campus features residential staff and house parents serving as surrogate parents who mentor and tutor students, teach age-appropriate independent living skills, create opportunities to explore new interests, encourage participation in sports and recreation, assist in the exploration of career and job opportunities, and promote family living skills.

Pay: $105,000 per year; $5000.00 Sign-On Bonus for Full-Time Clinical position paid out at 3 and 6 Months!

What you will do: You will oversee the clinical operations for two short-term residential therapeutic programs, including working with Program Administrators and Direct Care Staff to ensure that a consistent and collaborative approach is implemented. You are responsible for assessing resident mental health needs, clinical team supervision, and all specialty mental health programming such as working with psychiatrists and other contracted specialists to ensure that appropriate and coordinated care is being provided for each resident.

To be considered you must: To qualify for this position, candidates must be empathetic, patient, and respectful, with a genuine desire to work with troubled teens. Applicants are required to pass a criminal background check, drug screening, physical exam, and TB test, and must hold a current State Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record for the past three years. Candidates should be licensed as an LCSW, LMFT, or LPC, certification preferred. Additionally, candidates must have five years of clinical and administrative experience in a residential setting. They must meet the Board of Behavioral Sciences requirements to provide clinical supervision, which includes completing the initial 15 hours of supervision training and coursework, as well as six hours of supervision training during each renewal period while supervising trainees or associates. The ability to manage multiple people and projects is also essential for this role.

Shifts: Monday – Friday 9:00 am - 6:00 pm

Skills Required

  • Current LCSW, LMFT, or LPC license
