  1. Provides clinical supervision of substance abuse treatment professionals to include discussing specific cases, problems, and treatment interventions with staff members on an individual or group basis.
  2. Audits clinical records on weekly basis, ensuring that quality and compliance deficiencies are identified and corrected.
  3. Plans, facilitates, and documents treatment groups and individual counseling sessions in accordance with clients treatment plan.
  4. Oversees discharge planning to promote positive outcomes and ensure continiuty of care.
  5. Completes and implements weekly programming schedule, ensuring adherence to program curricula.
  6. Completes biopsychosocial assessments and level of care determinations within 48 hours of intake in a manner which reflects SMR policy and procedures.
  7. Creates, monitors, and updates client treatment schedule, individualized treatment plan, and goals in a manner which is fully understood by client and which reflects clients individualized treatment plan and progress toward treatment goals.
  8. Attends and participates in all trainings, clinical meetings, and supervision groups during and outside of working hours as required by Clinical Director.
  9. Supports and assists in crisis intervention and at all other times deemed appropriate in a manner consistent with SMR policies and procedures.
  10. Assign cases to staff, signs off on treatment or discharge plans, review patient charts for quality and compliance.
  11. Provide back-up assistance to Therapists with group therapy and psycho-education groups as necessary
  12. Provide[LS1] clinical consultation to referral resources, family members, and others to help support clients in their recovery
  13. 25% direct service productivity
  14. Work closely with clients to engage them in the decision-making process and help them understand the benefits of assessment and accessing the appropriate level of care as indicated
  15. Ensure compliance with internal and external policies, procedures, regulations, and standards, including all of Silver Maple Recoverys policies and procedures and Quality Assurance Plan, State Licensing standards, and managed care regulations

 

Qualifications:

Language Ability:

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

Math Ability:

Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Computer Skills:

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of word processing software, spreadsheet software, design software, internet software, project management software, database software, and Google analytics.

Education/Experience:

Masters degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related field plus one year of clinical experience in an alcohol or other drugs (AOD) or mental health setting preferred

Certificates and Licenses:

Current CPR and First Aid certificate

Current TB test

Valid drivers license

LSW, LICDC-CS, LISW, LPC

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Other Abilities:

  • Oral and written communication skills

  • Combination of comparable skills, experience, and education
  • Understanding and supportive of a trauma-informed system of care
  • Experience with trauma-informed services, cognitive behavioral therapies including DBT, and motivational therapies preferred
  • Personal recovery experience not required, however, knowledge of recovery support systems and 12-Step programs preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and engagement skills
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

 

  • Strong computer skills required; experience with EMR system a plus
