San Jose: North San Jose Center ( In-person position )

Working Hours/Shift:

FT, Monday-Friday, AM shift, 9:00 am - 5:30 pm

What you bring to SBHG (qualifications):

Education:

  • Master's degree in social science field.

Experience:

  • At least four (4) years of experience in a behavioral health field.
  • One (1) year in a leadership role

License or Certification:

  • BBS Licensed as LMFT, LCSW, LPCC, or Psychologist
  • Ability to provide Clinical Supervision per BBS regulations

Driver Requirements: A valid California Driver’s License and current automobile insurance, with a driving record that consistently meets the agency's eligibility policy.

How you will make a difference (job overview):

The Clinical Supervisor is primarily responsibility for oversight of mental health services and case management services to children and their families. Supervises Mental Health Specialists and Substance Use Counselors providing mental health services to clients referred to Community Services Programs. The Clinical Supervisor may have their own caseload in addition to overseeing their staff. He/she acts as liaison with external agencies and functions on teams with other clinical & support staff.

Division/Program Overview: 

  • Programs: Adult consented program 
  • Population Served: Adults (18+) and older adults.  
  • Facility & Setting: Community-based program, all services happen at a person's home or community.  
  •  Clinical Services: Using a strength-based approach and working together as a multidisciplinary team. Supports clients with complex needs like medication, housing, vocational, independent living and mental health.  
  • Skills & Services: Services are provided to individuals and families throughout Santa Clara County. The intensity for services for each client is about 15 hours per month.
