Job Summary: 
As a Clinical Supervisor, you'll provide hands-on guidance and expertise to a team of dedicated clinicians who are committed to delivering high-quality, evidence-based treatment services to individuals recovering from substance use disorders. You'll bring your extensive knowledge and experience in clinical mental health, psychology, or counseling to the table, and use it to mentor and inspire your team to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities: 
• Provide practical clinical oversight to assigned team members, utilizing your experience to meet the needs of clients and the goals of treatment. 
• Access emergency services to provide rapid aid in case of emotional crisis. 
• Attend to management needs, such as data collection, program evaluation, and maintenance of various contracts for services. 
• Regularly participate in self and team evaluations according to Burrell Policies and Procedures. 
• Respond to all Quality Assurance procedures of Burrell and cooperate with utilization review procedures. 
• Research, assist with implementation, and oversee evidence-based programming and/or “best-practice” services, including assessments and treatment planning. 
• Provide clinical supervision to clinical team members and supervision to Peer Support Specialists and Community Support Specialists. 
• Arrange for clinical staff training in assessment, treatment planning, and client engagement. 
• Monitor appropriateness of level of care recommendations and changes to treatment intensity. 
• Oversee and attend group supervision meetings of Peers and CSS’s as needed. 
• Serve as a liaison between administration and assigned clinical team. 
• Monitor clinical documentation, time, productivity, and deficiencies of supervised staff to ensure compliance with program standards. 

Education, Experience, and/or Credential Qualifications: 
• Must possess a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health, Psychology, Counseling, or a related behavioral health field. 
• Must be licensed in the state of Missouri as a Professional Counselor with a minimum of 2 years post supervision experience. 
• Must be approved (or willing to become approved within 12 months of date of hire) by the state of Missouri professional counselor Board to provide supervision to provisionally licensed counselors. 
• Must be approved (or willing to become approved within 12 months of hire) by the Missouri Credentialing board to provide supervision to MAADC I or MAADC II counselors. 
• At least 1 year of substance use disorder treatment experience required. 

Additional Qualifications: 
• Must be at least 21 years of age. 
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and auto insurance. 

Physical Requirements: 
• Ability to sit for extended periods. 
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds. 
• Ability to perform tasks requiring manual dexterity.
