As a Clinical Supervisor, you will play a vital role in empowering Women to overcome challenges, build resilience, and achieve meaningful recovery goals.


Gaudenzia's Mission: Gaudenzia's Mission is to promote long-term recovery by providing comprehensive treatment and support to people with substance use disorder, co-occurring mental health disorders, and related conditions, regardless of individual circumstances.

Qualifications:

  • Pennsylvania
    • At minimum: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in addiction counseling, psychology, social work, counseling, nursing (with a clinical specialty in administration or human services) or other related field and 3 years of clinical experience in a health or human service agency which includes 1 year or working directly with individuals with Substance use disorder or a Master's degree from an accredited college or university with a major in addiction counseling, psychology, social work, counseling, nursing (with a clinical specialty in administration or human services) or other related field and 2 years of clinical experience in a health or human service agency which includes 1 year of working directly with individuals with substance use disorders
    • Must have a clinical license through the Department of State or be certified as a Certified Clinical Supervisor through the PCB or must be working toward licensure or certification with a completion date of 7/1/24 or no later than 3 years of hire date
    • Must also complete department- approved core curriculum training which includes clinical supervision skills

 

Your responsibilities in this role may include:
1. Develop, implement, and monitor training plans for clinical staff based on the needs of clients and the facility; training must be reflective of best practices and congruent with state regulations and licensing entities.
2. Implements treatment schedule to promote appropriate clinical interventions.
3. Provide close supervision of counselors and therapists and of required documentation including electronic client health records, treatment entries, etc., in accordance with established policies, which comply with licensing, funding and regulatory agencies.
4. Intervene in difficult cases and approve all referrals to specialized care.
5. Supervise aftercare component of treatment.
6. Attend, participate, and when necessary, facilitate meetings and special events such as retreats, trips, workshops, etc.
7. Maintain a small client caseload, when necessary.
8. Support and demonstrate adherence to Gaudenzia's Standards of Conduct and all personnel policies and procedures.
9. Maintain appropriate professional certificates and credentials.
10. Be responsible for the facility when the Director is unavailable.
11. Other related duties as assigned by Program Director or designee.

Pay Range

$49,045-$55,175 Based upon experience

Skills Required

  • Bachelor's degree in addiction counseling, psychology, social work, counseling, nursing (with clinical specialty), or related field plus 3 years clinical experience in a health or human service agency including 1 year working directly with individuals with substance use disorder
  • Master's degree in addiction counseling, psychology, social work, counseling, nursing (with clinical specialty), or related field plus 2 years clinical experience in a health or human service agency including 1 year working directly with individuals with substance use disorder
  • Clinical license through the Department of State or certification as a Certified Clinical Supervisor through the PCB, or actively working toward licensure/certification with completion by 7/1/24 or within 3 years of hire
  • Completion of department-approved core curriculum training including clinical supervision skills
  • Maintain appropriate professional certificates and credentials as required by role and licensing entities
  • Experience providing supervision of clinical staff and oversight of clinical documentation and electronic client health records in compliance with licensing and regulatory agencies
