The Opportunity: Clinical Supervisor in a residential setting providing SUD and related therapeutic interventions.

Job Type: Full-time, On-Site

Pay: $84,000k/ year + $3,000 sign-on bonus within 1st 6 months!

This position is also eligible for an additional quarterly bonus with an annual potential of an additional 5k per year!

As the Clinical Supervisor you will be directly responsible for the clinical supervision of clinical staff in our Men's Residential Program and ensure overall quality clinical care of the populations we serve. As Clinical Supervisor you will coordinate and lead individual and group supervision to assist in the development and competency of the clinical team’s clinical skills. As Clinical supervisor you will be responsible for conducting utilization review of clinical charts and coordinating with the multidisciplinary team to discuss complex cases. The Clinical Supervisor may also maintain a caseload of clients.

Some of your critical responsibilities:

  • Supervise masters-level therapists both individually and in a group setting to ensure clinical and administrative compliance and increase quality care and practice of EBP’s.
  • Complete clinical documentation review daily, provides feedback and corrective action to providers, completes chart audits, and is part of the multidisciplinary review team.
  • Complete required documentation for supervision and document in Electronic Health Record system (EHR).
  • Coordinate, plan, and present administrative and clinical trainings to staff to increase compliance and clinical expertise.
  • Implement the policies and procedures of VOAMASS, BSAS/DPH, and Managed Care Organizations for promote continuity of care.
  • Train and assist providers with insurance authorizations and reauthorizations to ensure continued care and medical necessity requirements.
  • Meets with Program Director weekly for individual supervision
  • Contribute in the development of program operations and procedures.
  • Serve as part of the multidisciplinary review team to complete utilization review of client records and implement corrective actions for all clinical documentation to maintain agency compliance with state regulations and mental health professional standards.
  • Attend state-wide collaborative meetings and other stakeholder meeting as assigned to discuss services within the program.
  • Assist with the program on-call rotation between themselves, Program Director, and Program Manager.
  • Other duties as assigned.

The Clinical Supervisor role is about making a difference in the lives of the people we serve. You’ll bring the following qualifications:

  • An advanced degree in mental health, counseling, social work, or a related field.
  • A current professional license in a field related to mental health counseling (LMHC, LICSW) in the state of Massachusetts is preferred but candidates within 6 months of licensure are also encouraged to apply!
  • Must have a minimum of five years in clinical settings as a therapist
  • Knowledge of milieu therapy, behavior modification in outpatient and/or residential settings; knowledge of substance abuse modalities, co-occurring disorders, and ability to manage personnel and other program resources.
