The Clinical Sales Specialist is responsible for leading and managing all clinical and sales activities across Malaysia and Singapore, ensuring flawless execution of customer support, clinical education, and commercial growth strategies.

The role serves as the primary clinical expert for both countries, supporting healthcare professionals, channel partners, and customers to maximize product utilization and clinical outcomes. In addition, the position is accountable for driving business growth in Malaysia through market development initiatives, expansion of the ABM Capital business, improvement of WD performance, and acceleration of Tango product adoption.

The successful candidate will work closely with channel partners, healthcare institutions, key opinion leaders (KOLs), and internal cross-functional teams to achieve sales targets, strengthen customer relationships, and support sustainable business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Management (Malaysia & Singapore)

  • Manage all clinical aspects of the business to ensure high-quality customer support and clinical excellence across Malaysia and Singapore.
  • Deliver clinical training, product education, and in-service programs for healthcare professionals, channel partners, and customers.
  • Support product evaluations, clinical validations, and implementation activities in customer accounts.
  • Identify customer clinical needs and provide appropriate solutions to optimize patient care and product utilization.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clinicians, decision-makers, and healthcare stakeholders.
  • Develop and support KOL engagement strategies and advisory board activities.
  • Coordinate and participate in medical conferences, workshops, exhibitions, and educational events.
  • Provide clinical expertise during product launches, customer presentations, and sales activities.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable company policies, quality standards, regulatory requirements, and local healthcare regulations.
  • Resolve customer issues and complaints promptly and professionally while maintaining customer confidence and satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with Regulatory Affairs, Quality Assurance, Compliance, Customer Service, and Supply Chain teams to ensure seamless customer support.

 

Sales & Business Development (Malaysia Focus)

  • Drive achievement of annual sales targets and business objectives within Malaysia.
  • Develop and execute territory growth strategies to expand market share and strengthen market presence.
  • Lead initiatives to grow the ABM Capital business through targeted customer acquisition and market penetration activities.
  • Improve WD performance and utilization by identifying opportunities within existing and new customer accounts.
  • Accelerate Tango business growth through focused commercial programs, customer education, and market development initiatives.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, strategic accounts, and emerging market segments.
  • Develop and execute account plans to maximize revenue growth and customer retention.
  • Support distributor/partners in product positioning, differentiation, and sales effectiveness.
  • Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities across the product portfolio.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of market trends, competitor activities, customer requirements, and industry developments.
  • Build strong relationships with channel partners to ensure alignment with business objectives and execution excellence.
  • Contribute to territory forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning activities.

 

Reporting & Administration

  • Prepare and submit timely reports ( Weekly Activity Report/ Itinerary)  
  • Conduct Monthly meeting with Distributor / ASP  to discuss sales performance, customer feedback, market intelligence, and competitor activities.
  • Monitor territory performance and provide recommendations to improve business outcomes.
  • Communicate business opportunities, risks, and market developments to management.
  • Ensure compliance with all documentation, reporting, and quality management requirements.

 

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, Biomedical Science, Life Sciences, Medical Technology, Healthcare, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in medical device sales, clinical applications, or healthcare commercial roles.
  • Strong understanding of hospital workflows, clinical practices, and healthcare procurement processes.
  • Experience working with distributors and channel partner business models.
  • Proven track record in sales growth, business development, and account management.
  • Experience in dialysis, renal care, critical care, or medical device markets is an advantage.
  • Ability to travel regularly within Malaysia and Singapore.
