POSITION SUMMARY
IES is looking for a Clinical Recruitment Manager to lead, develop, and drive talent acquisition strategies to fill open Physician and APP roles at the hospitals that IES supports. Specialties include Emergency Medicine (majority), Hospitalists, Anesthesia, and Surgical. This role is responsible for supervising and developing a team of professional recruiters to ensure recruiting strategies, activity, and hiring goals are met. This role will also manage a partial req load. Majority of work can be done remotely. Travel includes visits to our Corporate office in Dallas, TX, recruitment events or conferences, and client sites. Preference for those based in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. IES currently supports sites in TX, AZ, OK, CO, IN, MO, AL, FL, SC, and D.C.
 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The responsibilities listed here represent the majority of the role but are not all-inclusive; other duties may be assigned.

  • Manage provider recruiting activities for assigned markets, service lines, and sites.
  • Activities include but are not limited to: utilization of recruiting tools and technology, compensation surveys, assessing individual recruiting plans per contract, sourcing proactively, and matching candidates to multiple positions and service lines. 
  • Monitor, recommend, and implement creative, efficient, and cost-effective recruiting strategies. Manage and support the team to ensure positions are filled efficiently and effectively. 
  • Participate in enterprise level dashboard creation and discussions. 
  • Create appropriate dashboards to continuously track recruitment performance for clients & sites within assigned scope.
  • Analyze and report recruiting activity within scope of oversight to leadership.
  • Provide ideas and recommendations to foster improvement in productivity, effectiveness, and service. 
  • Identify and drive processes and system improvements to improve efficiency and enhance both candidate experience and hiring leader experience.
  • Ensure that projects and department goals are met and adhere to approved budgets. 
  • Evaluate, develop, and refine scalable processes for sourcing and attracting talent via recruiting website, job boards, referral channels, and other sourcing methods.
  • Participate in the development and finalization of pay plans for assigned service lines and markets.
  • Train new recruiters within the established systems, workflows, and processes
  • Serve as a resource and mentor to staff recruiters in their recruiting efforts.
  • Identify training and development opportunities for staff recruiters.
  • Ensure recruiters are following all developed processes and procedures.
  • Concurrently manage a personal req load. 
  • Work with the other functional managers within IES to ensure efficient credentialing and staffing timelines.
  • Attend on-site visits during startup phase of all new business as necessary.
  • Manage Salesforce licenses to ensure licenses are adequate to support operational needs, ensuring the licenses are issued according to team member needs.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with guidelines, policies and procedures and applicable laws. Supervisory responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
 

QUALIFICATIONS

Education / Experience:  Includes the minimum education, technical training, and/or experience preferred to perform the job.

Required:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum five (5) years of recruiting experience
  • Minimum two (2) years of supervisory or management experience 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Applicant Tracking Systems

Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Healthcare industry experience
  • Physician recruitment experience 
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems

  • Possess the ability to fulfill any office activities normally expected in an office setting, to include, but not limited to:  remaining seated for periods of time to perform computer based work, participating in filing activity, lifting and carrying office supplies (paper reams, mail, etc.)
  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 20-25 pounds 
  • Fine hand manipulation (keyboarding)
