Job DescriptionMō te tūranga | About the opportunity
As Clinical Manager you will be a pivotal member of our senior leadership team, as we work together to foster a care delivery culture that supports the Arvida values and purpose. You will be responsible for leading clinical excellence, managing clinical risk, planning and executing effective continuous improvement initiatives, as well as operational oversight of the clinical team including rosters, recruitment, and budgeting.

Our Attitude of Living Well approach is an important philosophy at Arvida, and you will work alongside other team members across the community organisation to practice and promote this approach, building an authentic resident-led culture and experience.
This is a full time role working 40 hours across Monday to Friday (with some on-call requirements during evening and weekends).
QualificationsTo tatou kaitono pai | Our ideal candidate must have
- Collaborative leadership skills, with a growth mindset, and at least 3 years experience managing a clinical team
- Registered Nurse with a current NZ Annual Practicing Certificate, ideally with a relevant post graduate qualification (e.g. Gerontological Nursing, Business Management)
- Passion for aged care with connection to the Arvida values and purpose
- Customer focus, business improvement, change management and problem-solving ability.
- Leadership and people management experience (including recruitment and development) with the ability to engage and coach your team
- Experience with and/or demonstration of commitment to resident-led models of care
- Budget management experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent teamwork, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
