The Clinical Lab Assistant II performs phlebotomy and specimen management in accordance with departmental procedures and regulatory requirements, promotes exceptional customer service, and fosters a customer centric, professional environment that contributes to a positive and productive work environment. Responsible for both internal and external customer inquiry and problem resolution.
The position may require travel to off-site locations and the flexibility to work all shifts, weekends and holidays as needed.
Requirements
- Associate's Degree in Medical Laboratory Technologist program (non-certified); OR bachelor’s degree in biology, Chemistry, Microbiology, or related
field - Experience in clinical lab setting preferred.
Skills
- Reasoning ability and good independent judgment.
- Strong interpersonal, computer and communication skills.
- Willingness to work different shifts, weekends and/or holidays.
- Ability to work under stress and contribute to the team environment.
