The Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Clinical Informatics Specialist to support digital healthcare transformation initiatives within a provincial health system. The ideal candidate will bring a strong blend of clinical expertise (nursing background) and healthcare IT experience, enabling the successful implementation, adoption, and optimization of clinical information systems.
Requirements
Mandatory Qualifications (Must-Have)
- Degree, Diploma, or Certification in Nursing
- Prosci Change Management Certification (Valid)
- PRINCE2 Foundation or Practitioner Certification (Valid)
Required Experience
- 10+ years of experience in healthcare environments implementing clinical workflow changes
- 8+ years of experience in clinical information systems implementation
- 6+ years of experience delivering training to clinical users (nurses, physicians)
- 5+ years of experience with Altera Sunrise suite in acute care settings
- 1+ year of experience conducting Privacy Impact Assessments (PIA)
