We are currently recruiting two Clinical Educators for Central South Ontario who will play a key role in advancing clinical excellence and workforce capability across an assigned portfolio of Long-Term Care (LTC) homes. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Clinical Education, the Clinical Educator partners with home and regional leaders as well as frontline teams to deliver standardized, evidence-informed clinical skills education. Through onboarding, hands-on skills training, simulation, coaching, and competency development, the Clinical Educator supports safe practice, staff confidence, and high-quality, person-centred resident care. The Clinical Educator also helps translate policies and best practices into everyday practice while contributing to the development, evaluation, and expansion of Extendicare’s clinical education program.

  • Deliver standardized onboarding, transition to practice, and on-going clinical skills education to regulated and unregulated clinical staff
  • Facilitate engaging, learner-centered education through skills labs, simulation, microlearning, bedside coaching, and virtual delivery where applicable.
