The PACE Clinical Educator is critical for providing orientation, training, education, competency validation, and professional development for clinical and non-clinical personnel to ensure consistent standards of practice and regulatory compliance across the Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE). In this role you will plan, develop, implement, and evaluate educational programs supporting new hire orientation, ongoing staff development, interdisciplinary team effectiveness, competency evaluation, survey readiness, quality improvement initiatives, and compliance with CMS, state Medicaid, and organizational requirements.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

  • Practice Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

  • No Weekends, Evenings, or Holidays

  • Lead the design, implementation, evaluation, and continuous improvement of the organization’s comprehensive PACE education program. Ensure educational content aligns with CMS, State Medicaid Agency, organizational policies, and best practices.

  • Design and deliver structured orientation and onboarding programs for new hires, contracted personnel, students, and agency staff.

  • Ensure competency validation and foundational understanding of the PACE model of care, participant rights, IDT structure, and regulatory expectations.

  • Provide ongoing clinical education and training for licensed and non-licensed staff.

  • Develop and administer competency assessments, skills validation, and remediation plans.

  • Ensure staff demonstrate proficiency in geriatrics, chronic disease management, and population-specific care.

  • Educate staff on CMS PACE regulations, state requirements, documentation standards, participant rights, and compliance expectations.

  • Lead education related to audit findings, corrective action plans, and survey readiness. Supports organizational preparedness for CMS and state audits.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's Degree -Nursing- Required OR Must be enrolled in a BSN program with a completion date of 18 to 24 months from obtaining position

  • Master's Degree- Nursing Education/Leadership/Clinical Nurse Specialist- Preferred

  • 3 Years- Nursing/Patient Care Experience- Preferred

  • 2 Years- Department Specific Knowledge Experience- Preferred

  • Registered Nurse (RN)License - State Licensing Board- Required

  • Basic Life Support Program (BLS)- American Heart Association- Required

  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)- American Heart Association- Required

  • Board Certification (BRD CERT)- Preferred

  • Driver's License- Required

  • Auto Insurance- Required
