Job Description:
The Clinical Education Coordinator will be responsible for assessing training needs, developing, and evaluating while partnering with all departmental staff organization wide as appropriate.
- Plans and develops orientation and training in a manner that engages the learner and produces the desired outcomes of improved performance of individual and groups.
- Utilizes multiple methods to assess learning needs of individuals and groups.
- Serves as the resource to the department and/or organizational management by participating in quality improvement processes, and suggests innovative ways to use workflow to resolve operational issues/barriers.
- Evaluates clinical education offerings for effectiveness, transfer of learning and improved performance.
- Delivers service in a cost-effective and timely manner.
- Demonstrates commitment to continuous learning for self and others.
- Works collaboratively with departments to access staff competency
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree from an accredited school of nursing/ equivalent required, Masters preferred.
- Must have current license to practice professional nursing in the state of Ohio.
- BLS required, ACLS, PALS, BLS instructor preferred.
- 3 or more years of recent clinical experience required.
- Teaching experience required.
Exerting up to 20-50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10-25 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible up to 10 pounds amount of force often. Position may require frequent standing and walking.
Skills Required
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited school of nursing or equivalent
- Master's degree

- BLS (Basic Life Support)
