This is a high-visibility role working closely with clinical leaders, IT, and executive teams to strengthen emergency preparedness and operational continuity.

 

What You’ll Do

  • Lead hospital-wide clinical downtime preparedness and response
  • Develop and maintain downtime and business continuity playbooks
  • Coordinate downtime drills and real-time incident response
  • Partner with Nursing, Pharmacy, Lab, Radiology, and Registration to optimize manual workflows
  • Train clinical teams on downtime procedures and emergency readiness
  • Track patient safety risks and lead post-event improvement efforts

 

During Critical Events

  • Serve as the on-site Clinical Downtime Lead in Incident Command
  • Coordinate manual clinical workflows across departments
  • Provide real-time updates to leadership
  • Monitor and mitigate patient safety risks

 

Ideal Background

We welcome candidates from:

  • Nursing (RN), Clinical Operations, or Informatics
  • Emergency Management or Patient Safety
  • 3+ years in hospital-based clinical roles

Skills Required
