Job Description:
Baptist Health is looking for a Clinical Documentation Integrity Data Analytics Nurse to join our team! This is a remote position that requires residency in KY or IN
Clinical Documentation Integrity Data Analytics Nurse will be responsible for CDI query reconciliation accuracy, compiling and generating key performance metrics for entities such as physicians, providers, CDI team and facility leadership after review with CDI Leadership. Participate on multi-disciplinary enterprise quality and process improvement teams. Collaborate with CDI Auditor/Educators to develop and implement programs for ongoing CDI, physicians, providers, and ancillary departmental education. Evaluate opportunities for new CDI initiatives via ongoing metric analysis including validating workflows, tracking, and trending of results. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree; Three years acute healthcare nursing experience including two years clinical documentation integrity
experience.In lieu of bachelor’s degree, associate degree in nursing with five years acute healthcare experience including two years clinical documentation integrity experience.
Knowledge of ICD10-CM coding principles and procedures, DRG assignment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, data entry and data retrieval systems, Encoder, and internet preferred
Valid Kentucky or Indiana Licensure as a Registered Nurse, CCDS and/or CDIP, member of ACDIS or AHIMA
