St. Vincent's Hospital Westchester, a division of Saint Joseph's Medical Center, has a part-time position for a BC/BE psychiatrist in our Intensive Crisis Residence in Harrison, NY. The Intensive Crisis Residence (ICR) is a new model of care in New York State designed to provide an alternative to hospitalization for patients who are in crisis but not in need of an inpatient psychiatric facility. The program will have around the clock, multidisciplinary staff and significant programming to address the patient's needs. The psychiatrist will provide direct patient care as well as help to establish and refine clinical programming, policies and procedures. St. Vincent's provides Westchester's broadest continuum of behavioral health services and the ICR will be able to utilize these resources to help stabilize the patients and plan for discharge.
