Job Duties:
Assess, interpret, plan, monitor, and document the nutritional status and nutritional needs of patients using evidence-based standards of care, policies and practice guidelines. Perform a nutrition-focused physical exam on patients. Identify and provide age-specific nutrition care and meet the cultural needs of the patients and their families. Work within an inter-disciplinary team to provide a plan of care to achieve the patient’s health goals.
Educate patients, care givers, students, and other health care colleagues on the effect of therapeutic diets and nutrition support to maintain/improve nutritional status.
When assigned, provide support and supervision to the daily infant formula preparation routine which includes identifying and calculating recipes to individualize the formula to meet nutritional needs of the infant.
Participate in department activities to enhance patient satisfaction.
Keep current on nutrition research and incorporate into daily practice. Other duties as assigned.

- Bachelors Degree
Preferred:
- Masters Degree

- Dietetics, Nutrition or Family & Consumer Science with ACEND (Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics) requirements completed
Required:
- 1-2 years of previous job-related experience
Required:
- Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration
- Licensed as a Dietitian Nutritionist with the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation
Compensation:
Pay Range: $55,806.40 - $86,507.20 Annually
Actual compensation will fall within the range but may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, certification requirements, and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles.
