RN(BSN or MSN) needed for Nursing Instructor – Full Time
We are recruiting Registered Nurses (RN) (BSN and MSN) interested in sharing their medical nursing expertise with the next generation in the classroom and at clinical sites.

Daytime hours and full time. We will provide you with complete training in our curriculum and standards to ensure that you will be fully prepared for your new teaching role. We have experienced mentors to help you get started.
Our smaller class sizes mean you get more 1:1 time with students and make real classroom connections.
You will instruct students in the Ross curriculum, review lesson plans and prepare for class instruction, grade and electronically record assignments, actively promote student retention, support externship activities as applicable, and perform related work as required. Nursing faculty Primary Instructors accurately record grades, successful completion of proficiencies and attendance by entering information in campus management software
Clinical Coordinator - NursingRequirements for an Instructor:
- Completion of an approved registered nursing education program, BSN or higher
- Two or more years in the practice of nursing as a registered nurse providing direct patient care
- Current, valid licensure as a registered nurse in Ohio
- Daytime availability
- Prior teaching experience preferred
- Adhere to Ross Code of Conduct and Professional Ethics

Skills Required
- Bachelor of Nursing degree (BSN) or higher
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Ohio
- Two years of experience as an RN providing direct patient care
- Background check required (including driving license)
- Ability to travel to visit clinical sites and attend meetings
- Ability to stand for extended periods, and visual/auditory ability to operate classroom/office equipment
- Ability to use current technology to maintain student records and communicate effectively
- Experience with precepting, working with students in clinicals, teaching/education
- Prior teaching or formal tutoring experience using a developed curriculum
- Ability to achieve or maintain credential and/or licensure within expected time frames
