- You have a permanent part-time position (20hrs/week). Please note that weekly hours are based on operational needs, may vary, and are not guaranteed

Your tasks at a glance
- You assist during the pre-op exams and fill the patient’s charts accurately.
- You answer patients' questions and ensure the best service.
- You work closely with Optometrists.
- You conduct pre-operative and post-operative tests for patients.
- You update the appointment system after every patient's consultation.
- You confirm by phone post-operative appointments.
- You will be cross-trained as a Receptionist (once the initial training is completed).
A clear view of your assets
- You are comfortable with computers, technology, and Microsoft 365 (knowledge of EMR systems is an asset).
- You have an interest in the medical field and have a passion for delivering excellent customer service.
- You find it easy to connect with others and quickly build trust.
- Your experience in the health care field is considered an asset (ex: optometry assistant, orderly, dental assistant, pharmacy lab technician, sterilization assistant, animal health technician assistant, etc.).
- You are looking for a fast-paced, dynamic work environment where your ability to work in a team and excel at multi-tasking will be an asset.
- Important: You have excellent communication skills, you speak English et français également (advanced intermediate level of French required due to the nature of the tasks or interactions with our French-speaking patients).
- Schedule: You have flexible work availability Monday (8:15am-4:30pm), Tuesday (10:30am-6:30pm), third shift would be either Wed/Thurs/Fri (7:30am-3:30pm or when surgery is completed).
