Under supervision and with direction, the Clinical Application Analyst is able to diagnose issues, identify appropriate resources and escalations, and propose and implement solutions to simple problems and requests. Candidate is competent to work on most phases of application life cycle, including creating support documentation, implementing simple software upgrades, and troubleshooting issues. Works with business owners and vendors to understand software functionality and workflows, including future developments and departmental growth. Devises or modifies procedures to solve problems considering software application limitations, operating time, and desired results.
Essential Functions:
- Communicates and intervenes appropriately with end users, departmental personnel, or with vendors to help resolve issues in a timely manner. (25%)
- Completes simple troubleshooting and support on all systems. (25%)
- Responds to email, voicemail, pager requests in a timely manner set forth by departmental policy. Creates, maintains, and follows detailed documentation processes to ensure cross functional knowledge sharing. (10%)
- Ensures up to date documentation on all systems, tickets and projects. (10%)
- Implements change or performs necessary system changes. (10%)
- Plans and organizes time effectively while being able to constantly prioritize and reprioritize as necessary. (10%)
- Anticipates resources needs and plans accordingly. (10%)
Education:
- Associate's Degree required.
- In lieu of Associate's degree, 1 year additional experience required.
Work Experience:
- 1-3 years relevant experience required.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Identify and resolve systems issues using IT solutions and ticketing system(s)
- Identifies and designs technical solutions to complex application requirement utilizing then supported application tools and functions. Provides multiple options and considerations when available.
- Assists with building, maintaining, and troubleshooting recurring scheduled automations
- Assists with building, maintaining, and troubleshooting application and technical configurations
- Assists with building, maintaining, and troubleshooting complex application extensions, including approval/processing workflows, functional enhancements, integrations, reports, analytics, and security. Coordinates with technical development resources as needed to accomplish objectives and meet team standards.
- Conduct in-depth tests for modified and new systems or applications
- Coordinate with vendors for issue and task progress
- Work independently to gather business requirements including leading design sessions for new implementations or optimizations of business processes, operations, and process flows
- Perform data inquiries, extracts, reports, and uploads in support of operations, customer support and system integrity
- Work independently to provide day to day support for clinical applications
