What You'll Do

As the Clinical Administrative Coordinator, you'll play a vital role in supporting our ambulatory surgery centers and clinic operations by coordinating safety, quality, compliance, and administrative initiatives that ensure our patients and employees have the best possible experience.

Safety & Environment of Care

  • Serve as Gastro One's Safety Officer, helping maintain a safe environment for patients, employees, and visitors.
  • Coordinate and lead bi-monthly Safety Committee meetings.
  • Maintain safety policies, procedures, and required documentation.
  • Organize annual safety training and facility safety initiatives.
  • Coordinate monthly safety calendars and facility hazard inspections.
  • Oversee fire and disaster drills, Safety Data Sheets (SDS), eyewash station inspections, refrigerator monitoring, and other regulatory safety requirements.
  • Monitor safety compliance across all Gastro One locations.

 

Quality & Compliance

  • Monitor the [email protected] inbox, assisting patients with portal access, procedure cancellations, compliments, and concerns.
  • Coordinate Quality Assessment and Performance Improvement (QAPI) activities, including quarterly meetings, performance improvement studies, and documentation.
  • Track, investigate, and document unusual events and hospital transfers.
  • Facilitate the Peer Review Committee by coordinating quarterly reviews, preparing audit reports, and ensuring required documentation is complete.
  • Collaborate with leadership to support risk management activities and investigate patient or operational concerns.
  • Assist with GIQuiC and MIPS data management, quality improvement initiatives, and provider education.
  • Partner with platform leadership to support Infection Prevention & Control and ensure local policies align with organizational standards.

 

Administrative Support

  • Provide administrative support for physician Continuing Medical Education (CME) activities and special projects.
  • Coordinate product recalls and related documentation.
  • Assist with additional quality, compliance, and operational projects as assigned.

 

What We're Looking For

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Must have an OSHA training and relevant certifications.
  • Minimum five (5) years’ experience in a safety role.
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.
  • Comfortable working independently and collaboratively across departments.
  • An excellent communicator with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Passionate about safety, quality improvement, and delivering an outstanding patient experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable learning healthcare software applications.
