Clinical Administrative Assistant – Full-Time Position – Raleigh Location
Raleigh Orthopaedic is hiring a Clinical Administrative Assistant to provide administrative support for assigned physicians and providers. This role involves working closely with a diverse group of patients, visitors, and internal contacts across all levels of the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to physicians and providers, including correspondence, reports, and documentation
- Coordinate provider calendars, meetings, conferences, and on-call schedules
- Complete disability forms, medical necessity letters, and other patient-related paperwork
- Schedule patient appointments, diagnostic tests, procedures, and follow-up visits
- Respond to patient calls and messages with professionalism, empathy, and confidentiality
- Maintain accurate documentation and facilitate timely communication between patients, providers, and referring offices
- Assist with presentations, special projects, and general office operations
- Work collaboratively with teammates to ensure efficient clinic workflow and excellent patient care
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required
- 3–5 years of progressively responsible administrative experience, preferably in a healthcare setting
- Knowledge of medical terminology and strong English grammar, proofreading, and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational, multitasking, and time management abilities
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships with patients, providers, and coworkers
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Compensation:
- $18–$22 per hour, commensurate with experience

Skills Required
