Position Summary
The Clinic Manager is responsible for the overall operations, coordination, and performance of the Rural Health Clinic. This position provides leadership and oversight for clinical and administrative staff while ensuring efficient daily operations, regulatory compliance, quality patient care, and excellent customer service. The Clinic Manager works collaboratively with providers, nursing staff, administration, and ancillary departments to promote operational efficiency, financial performance, patient satisfaction, and quality outcomes.
The Clinic Manager is responsible for maintaining compliance with federal, state, and Rural Health Clinic (RHC) regulations while supporting organizational goals, employee engagement, and continuous process improvement.
Requirements
Education
- Associate’s Degree required; Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Texas preferred.
- Current CPR certification required.
- Minimum of three (3) years of healthcare clinic or ambulatory care experience preferred.
- Prior supervisory or management experience preferred.
- Experience with Rural Health Clinic operations, Electronic Medical Records (EMR), scheduling systems, and quality initiatives preferred.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Ability to effectively supervise and motivate staff.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of clinic workflow, staffing, billing, compliance, and quality improvement processes.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and problem solve effectively.
- Proficient in Electronic Medical Record systems.
