The Guidance Center (TGC) is the Community Mental Health Center and Certified Behavioral Health Clinic serving Leavenworth, Atchison, and Jefferson counties in Kansas. The Guidance Center (TGC) is currently seeking a Clinic Administrator to be the newest member of our innovative interdisciplinary team. The Leavenworth Clinic Administrator is responsible for overseeing and facilitating all functions within the Leavenworth Clinic, to include management of clinical service access and delivery within regulatory and contractual standards, productivity management, administrative functions, facility management, fiscal program, and community relations. The Leavenworth Clinic Administrator serves as a member and active participant of TGC’s Senior Leadership and Leadership Teams. The Leavenworth Clinic Administrator requires a high level of clinical competency along with operational leadership skills, and ability to represent The Guidance Center effectively within the community and with referral sources.  The Guidance Center, Inc. is a Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) and Community Mental Health Center (CMHC). Typical Business Hours with some evening hours required.

  • Competitive annual salary of $108,179.97 to $113,484.47, depending upon qualifications.  

Primary Duties: 

  1. Ensure the effective, efficient, and timely delivery of clinical services at Leavenworth Clinic to include facilitating service access within contractual and regulatory timeframes.  
  2. Provide direct clinical services as needed to facilitate access standards and/or crisis response. 
  3. Supervise Outpatient Clinician II Team Lead, School Based Clinical Supervisor, and Outpatient Clinicians assigned to location individually, in groups, and on an as needed basis with focus on clinical case staffing and support, crisis intervention, diagnostic formulation and treatment approaches, meeting productivity requirements, completion of initial and ongoing trainings, completion of administrative functions, and staff development/support.  
  4. Collaborate with Senior Director of Client Experience and Office Manager for Leavenworth office regularly to support access and care coordination.   
  5. Ensure productivity standards are met.   
  6. Conduct ongoing assessment of the Leavenworth Clinic’s service, operational, facility, financial, and staffing needs and develop plans to meet needs in collaboration with relevant staff.  
  7. Be a subject matter expert related to the Electronic Health Record, Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) and Community Mental Health Center (CMHC) standards, fiscal processes, billing-related matters, budget management, client account management.  
  8. Interview applicants/hire new staff. Facilitate onboarding and initial training in collaboration with team leaders, which clearly meets the needs of new staff. Facilitates remediation training as indicated.  
  9. Prepare and implement Continuous Quality Improvement, corrective action, and/or policy and procedure changes when indicated. 
  10. Review chart notes of supervisees to ensure documentation meets Managed Care Organization and licensing standards for clarity, reflects provision of appropriate treatment, supports medical necessity, and uses correct billing codes. 

Requirements


QUALIFICATIONS: 

EDUCATION AND LICENSURE: 

Master’s degree in Social Work, Clinical Psychology, Marriage & Family Therapy or Professional Counseling or Doctorate degree in Clinical or Counseling Psychology (PhD or PsyD) and licensure by the Kansas Behavioral Sciences Regulatory Board as a LP, LMSW, LMLP, LMFT, LPC, LSCSW, LCP, LCPC OR LCMFT by the first day of employment. 

EXPERIENCE: 

Required: A minimum of three (3) years of experience in a supervisory or management position in a mental health setting and a minimum of three (3) years clinical experience in a mental health setting.  

Preferred: Experience in a Kansas Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) and Community Mental Health Center (CMHC).
