We’re looking for an experienced Software Team Lead to join the Identity group. In this critical role, you will lead an excellent team of experienced engineers and solve architectural and engineering challenges, focusing on client-side work with significant interaction with backend teams.
You will manage and designing complex Identity and Authentication solutions, across all endpoint platforms, that ensure customers’ seamless experience with Cato products.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop new Identity and Authentication solutions across various platforms and across different Identity and Authentication methods
- Build an excellent team – through recruitment, mentoring, and day-to-day management
- End to End ownership of solutions throughout their entire design and development cycle which involve significant cross-team and cross-area collaborations
- Working closely with multiple stack holders - product management, server groups, core networking groups etc
- Designing and Implementing enterprise platform solutions
- Researching new technologies and adapting them for use within the company’s product
- Be on top of relevant client-side technologies to facilitate additional features that will both allow for novel solution and at the time improve existing ones
Requirements:
- BSc from a credible institution or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience as a Team Lead with proven abilities in leading client-side teams on multiple platforms.
- 7+ years of combined C++ and C experience with emphasis on concurrent programming on the client-side. Acquaintance with Swift being a major advantage.
- Hands-on experience - MUST
- Excellent knowledge of low-level architectures including networking libraries on Windows, macOS and Linux
- Significant advantage: acquaintance with OAUTH2 and other IDP and SSO implementations and architectures.
- Deep acquaintance with cross-platform building and CI/CD methodologies
- Well organized, execution capabilities, motivated, a fast learner, independent, and great at problem-solving.
- Excellent inter-personal skills.
