About the Position
We’re looking for a Client Trade Support team member to help support and grow Jane Street’s client-facing trading businesses. Specifically, you will assist our low-touch equities and options businesses in various ways, including:
- Monitoring the real-time health of our client-facing trading infrastructure
- Working with trading desks and technologists to understand and react to issues that arise throughout the day
- Working with developers to identify and prioritize internal and external projects that enhance our offering
- Shepherding new counterparties through the onboarding process
- Acting as the first point of contact for a wide range of client issues, including technical questions, real-time order handling, clearing and settlement inquiries, data queries, and general troubleshooting
About You
- 2+ years of experience in electronic equity or options execution
- Comfortable operating in a Unix environment
- Possess a customer service mindset with strong client-facing skills and experience
- Experienced with installing, administering, and supporting FIX connectivity and related applications
- Hold a sense of responsibility, ownership, and urgency for the work you do
- Able to perform and prioritize under pressure
- Organized with excellent attention to detail
- Thrive in a team-centric environment
